Privacy Policy
OTAnonymous collects as little personal information as possible, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect:
• Email address, and name if you give it: when you sign up for our newsletter.
• Messages: anything you email us or send as a reply to the newsletter.
• Supporter details: if you support us on Buy Me a Coffee, we may see your name, email, and any message you leave. Buy Me a Coffee handles payments, and we never see your full card number.
• Email activity: our newsletter provider records whether emails are opened and which links are clicked.
• Basic site data: our website host may collect standard data such as browser type, device, approximate location, and pages viewed.

How we use it:
• To send the newsletter you signed up for
• To reply to your messages
• To thank supporters
• To see which content is useful and improve it
• To prevent spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
• With the services that run our tools: beehiiv (newsletter), Buy Me a Coffee (support), and our website host. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
• With a company or nonprofit formed to run OTAnonymous, if that happens. This policy would still apply to your data.

Cookies and tracking:
Our website host and newsletter provider may use cookies and tracking pixels. These count visits, keep the site working, and measure email opens and clicks. You can block cookies in your browser and turn off images in your email app to limit tracking.
If we embed YouTube videos, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Do Not Track:
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common standard for them, so we don't currently respond to them.
Your choices
• Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
• See, fix, or delete your data: email us at [contact email], and we'll respond within 30 days.
• Wherever you live: some places give you extra privacy rights. We honor reasonable requests from anyone.

How long we keep it:
We keep your email while you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record so we don't email you again. We delete other data when we no longer need it.

Security:
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Adults only
Our Services are for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Where your data is processed
OTAnonymous is based in the United States. Our providers may store and process your information in the U.S. or other countries.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and announce major changes in the newsletter.

OTAnonymous ("OTA," "we," "us," "our") publishes free, step-by-step guides for using AI tools. Our content appears on otanonymous.com, our newsletter, our YouTube channel, our Facebook page, and our Buy Me a Coffee page (together, the "Services").

You must be at least 18 to use the Services or join the newsletter. By using them, you confirm you are 18 or older.

What we offer:
Our content is free and for educational purposes only. We may change, pause, or stop any part of the Services at any time without notice. Our Disclaimer explains the limits of our how-to content and of AI tools.

AI tools and other services
Our guides show you how to use AI tools and services made by other companies. You choose to use them at your own risk.
• You must follow each tool's own terms, age rules, and usage policies.
• You are responsible for any accounts, fees, and data you share with those tools.
• We don't control those tools and aren't responsible for how they work, change, or handle your data.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Use the Services to break any law, or to harm, harass, or deceive anyone
• Use our guides to create illegal content or violate anyone's rights
• Copy, scrape, or resell our content in bulk
• Hack, overload, or interfere with our site or newsletter
• Pretend to be OTAnonymous or claim a connection to us that doesn't exist

Our content
We own the content we create, including text, videos, graphics, and guides, unless noted otherwise.
• You may read, watch, and follow our guides, and use our example prompts and steps in your own personal or work projects.
• You may share links to our content.
• You may not republish, sell, or pass off our content as your own without our written permission.
The OTAnonymous name and logos are our brand. Other company and product names belong to their owners.

Newsletter
Our newsletter is free and sent through beehiiv. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email. We may stop the newsletter at any time.
8. Voluntary support
You can support OTA through Buy Me a Coffee. Support is a voluntary gift.
• It does not buy any product, service, or special access.
• OTAnonymous is not a registered nonprofit or charity, so support is not tax-deductible.
• Buy Me a Coffee processes all payments under its own terms. We never see your full card number.
• Gifts are generally non-refundable. If you were charged by mistake, contact us and we'll work with you to fix it.

Links to other sites
Our content links to sites and services we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, policies, or practices. You visit them at your own risk.

No warranties
The Services and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all express and implied warranties. That includes accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, OTAnonymous is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. That includes lost data, lost profits, account suspensions, security problems, or damage to your devices, arising from:
• Your use of, or inability to use, the Services
• Your use of any AI model or its output
• Your use of any third-party tool, site, or service
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you gave us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to defend and hold OTAnonymous harmless from claims, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees. This covers claims arising from your use of the Services, your use of any AI tool or its output, or your breach of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

General terms
• These Terms, the Disclaimer, and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us.
• If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it.
• We may transfer these Terms to a company or nonprofit formed to run OTAnonymous.

Our step-by-step guides are written for common setups, and your results may differ.
• AI tools change often. Menus, features, prices, and limits may differ by the time you follow a guide.
• Steps can vary by device, operating system, app version, account type, and location.
• Some steps change settings, install software, or connect accounts. Back up important files before you start.
• Follow any guide at your own risk, and stop if what you see doesn't match the steps.

No affiliation or endorsement
OTAnonymous is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any AI company we cover, such as OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), or Microsoft (Copilot). Product names and logos belong to their owners, and mentioning a tool is not an endorsement.

Third-party tools
Many tools we cover are made by other companies. They may charge fees, require accounts, collect your data, or change their terms at any time. Read each tool's terms and privacy policy before you sign up.

No guaranteed results
We don't promise any result from our content or from any AI tool. That includes time saved, income, or job outcomes.
